GRANTS TO RESEARCH SCHOLARS
One of the objects of the Foundation is to support
doctoral research on agrarian studies and to provide scholarships,
particularly to scholars from less-advantaged social and economic
backgrounds and from less-advantaged regions and to women. To this end,
the Foundation has awarded grants under five different categories in
2003-04 and 2004-05. Notices calling for applications for grants are
mailed to social science departments in universities and research
institutions all over India . They are also placed on the websites of
the International Development Economics Associates (IDEAs) and
Macroscan (<www.networkideas.org> and <www.macroscan.com>).
Future notices will be posted on this website.
